Michael J. Weiner, Esq. is engaged as of counsel to the Firm. His practice focuses on the litigation and arbitration of business disputes. He fights to defend the rights and protect the interests of businesses and entrepreneurs in complex commercial lawsuits.
Mr. Weiner has advocated before the state and federal trial and appellate courts, arbitration panels and administrative tribunals of New York and New Jersey for almost 20 years. He began his career as a litigator working at two reputable, regional law firms. He has developed an approach to litigation that is aggressive, efficient and focused on the distinct business needs of each of his clients.
Mr. Weiner has tried a number of his clients’ cases to verdict and has argued a variety of appeals. Among Michael’s professional accomplishments is an appellate victory before the Federal Court of Appeals in Loyal Tire and Auto Ctr., Inc. v. Town of Woodbury. The decision, authored by a judge who was subsequently elevated to the U.S. Supreme Court, compelled the defendant town to issue a lucrative municipal business permit to Mr. Weiner’s client.
Mr. Weiner is admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey.
