Gellis & Associates Hosts A Workshop On Strategies For International Investors Using Multi-national Corporate Structures

Over the past several years, partially due to the rapid growth of international commerce and partially as a result of the economic and financial crisis experienced by many developed nations, legislation involving direct invest in other countries became increasingly restrictive and complex . At the same time, the legislation of some jurisdictions became increasingly favorable towards facilitating investments in third counties. Discussions at the workshop provided participants with examples of various structures that offer investors protection under certain international Bilateral Investment Treaties and provide for dynamic business opportunities.
